A Day In The Life Of... Addison & Josie

During a recent trip to Canada, we were very lucky to catch up with an old friend of Claire's in Kelowna. Claire and Shona originally travelled together, across Australia, almost ten years ago and since this time, Shona has married Chris and together they have had two wonderful children; Addison and Josie. We were guests for the night, but just couldn't help slipping into work mode the next morning for an impromptu shoot with the kids. Playtime in the house was followed by a walk down to the beach where the girls were in their element playing in the warm sunshine.

A Day In The Life of... Ellie

Pretty in pink should be the tiltle of this post...  another chance to meet and photograph the beautiful little Ellie.

The day was April Fools Day, but we were happy to survive the day with no pranks from Ellie... well, not that we were aware of anyway! She was certainly keeping her mum and dad busy all day and enjoyed showing off her fairy tale outfit, complete with little pink wings. Her favourite colour, if you hadn't already guessed.

The arrival of grandparents, provided a brief respite for Natasha and Richard whilst Ellie seemed to be learning some new valuable lessons in life. It is always a pleasure to see that special relationship that children have with their grandparents.

The day was rounded off by some play time with her rather grand dolls house, which of course was... pink!

Changeable wet and windy weather meant that a walk to the park was off the list, so out came the toys... more toys and then the paints. And all of this before lunch!

A Day In The Life of... Taj - 15/02/12

Jag & Jeet share a day at home with Taj.

Six months after our last photo shoot with Taj we returned to Wallsall to spend the day with the family.

It is always a pleasure to be invited back and to see how much the little ones have grown. Taj was certainly growing into a handsome young man... with eyes like saucers!

Our morning at home was followed by a trip into Lichfield where we joined the family for lunch and it wasn't long before Taj was big hit with the girls behind the counter. Being friends of Jeet, there were big cuddles all round.

A Day In The Life Of... Amelie - 15/10/11

On a warm Autumnal day we took a stroll with Amelie and family around Melbourne Pool, 6 months after our last photo session with them.

At just over one and a half years old Amelie was enjoying the experience of her first autumn and the time playing and exploring among the fallen leaves. A real sensory overload and a wonderful time to capture in photographs.

The walk around Melbourne Pool was followed by a return visit home where Amelie's energy never seemed to dwinder and it wasn't long before the bulging toy hamper was raided...

After a long day we thought that Amelie would be ready for her nap at any moment but instead we were gifted with photo opportunity after photo opportunity! In fact by the end of the day, grasping for the camera, it seemed that Amelie was ready to take over the shoot herself. Perhaps a photographer of the future.

We left the still active Amelie with parents Gaelle & Eddie ready for an afternoon nap ourselves!
